All files are subject to review by Aquatic Dictionary staff. To ensure timely posting of your file please adhere to the following rules:

  • Ensure your information above is correct.
  • Files must be in Jpeg or GIF format using appropriate extensions (.jpg/.jpeg or .gif)
  • Files should be approximately 900KB or smaller for best chances at approval.
  • Original photos by the contributor are preferred. Drawings will be accepted in some circumstances. Photos must NOT be contributed unless you are the photographer/artist or you have permission to supply them to the dictionary from the photographer/artist.
  • You, the artist, or the photographer have agreed to grant Aquatic Dictionary permissions to use the file in promotional and other material for the dictionary and on it's associated sites (LittleFishTank.com, AquaticDictionary.com, FishDictionary.com, and/or any other LittleFishTank.com associated site.)
  • You agree that the images may be edited.
  • No compensation will be given for any files submitted except for the "Your Name" "Contributed by"credit line on some presentations of the file.
  • By clicking Upload on this page you indicate your agreement and your authority to agree to these rules yourself and/or on behalf of the photographer/artist.
